YouTube has content for everyone. For example, there are many YouTuber's that post vlogs (blogs in video form), comedic skits, pranks, tutorials, DIY's, just to name a few! YouTube has provided us all with content that we wouldn't be able to find elsewhere. I think we can all attest that YouTube is great, but is it better than TV? I will be researching this topic from an economical, technological, and educational perspective. I'll also be discussing about the positive/negative effects and impact YouTube has on society.
What is file sharing? File sharing is t he potential to transfer files from one device to another. Two programs most students use that are also file sharing programs is Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. These programs allow you to share big files, store in the cloud, sync, and collaborate with others. 2. What is P2P File sharing? Interesting topic to talk about - would love to read your paper in its entirety after its finished. I think YouTube just came out with YouTube TV also, so that could be an interesting thing to talk about since it eliminates the idea of having a cable-box while being able to watch live TV anywhere you want. I love YouTube personally; I go on everyday and look at the top trending videos as a way of getting some of my news for that day.
ReplyDeleteThis topic is very interesting. I think cable TV has been used less and less ever since Netflix and Youtube gained popularity. I think people prefer Netflix and Youtube because of the ability to "binge" watch many shows and almost no commercials. (Other than the ads on Youtube). I use Netflix and Youtube on a daily basis and don't have cable personally.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool. I think that YouTube allows for people to tailor and generate what content they are interested in seeing right on the spot which allows for its dominance in media and streaming. They are also releasing YouTube exclusive programming which I'm not sure will do so well. I feel like people love original, user-generated content which makes it so successful. I don't think they're really going on YouTube for shows. There's Netflix for that.
