Next New

A new media that doesn't exist yet.. maybe McGraw Hill Connect mobile app.. that actually works. Currently the McGraw Hill Connect mobile app doesn't allow students to read or do assignments on their phone. As a student, I'm always on the go and sometimes when your traveling you find opportunities where you can read or answer a few homework questions to keep busy. Their current app does nothing.

  2. Totally agree that an app should be built out. Don't know if this is considered a "new media" example though, since apps aren't really new. I'd definitely be a buyer of the app though.

Wiki So Far

I haven't added any content on Wiki yet but as of right now I would like to contribute to the Marketing wiki as I'm a Marketing major and have learned a thing or two this semester.

YouTube vs. TV

YouTube has content for  everyone . For example, there are many YouTuber's that post vlogs (blogs in video form), comedic skits, pranks, tutorials, DIY's, just to name a few! YouTube has provided us all with content that we wouldn't be able to find elsewhere.  I think we can all attest that  YouTube is great, but is it better than TV? I will be researching this topic from an economical, technological, and educational perspective. I'll also be discussing about the positive/negative effects and impact YouTube has on society.
